VIZIO VIA PHONE AND VIA TABLET

Big news from Vizio Via Phone and Via tablet yesterday at CES: their first and newest smartphone called Via Phone will be announced today at the popular electronics show, as well as their first tablet device. Both are Android OS devices:

Preliminary specifications of their newest smartphone have been released, subject to change:

- 5 mega pixel digital camera (facing to the rear)

- 4? touch screen panel

- camera for video calls on the front

- two or three internal speakers

- HDMI connector (unknown yet which type and version)

- the Via Tablet will have similar specifications but with an 8 inch touch panel screen, as well as WiFi which is standard on both machines

Most of us will know the Vizio from their TV brands (HDTV flat screens), and you may remember the Via Tablet was on display during the Rose Bowl last week. The officail announcmeent on Thursday January 6th will make an end to all the rumors at Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show.
